“I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”<\/em> (Philippians 3:14)<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I was born in 1980 in Jasper, Texas. While my father was originally from Racine, WI, my mother was born and raised in the Jasper area, Newton, Texas to be precise. I lived in Jasper until the age of 12 when my father began preaching and we moved to a central Texas town, Comanche. Just prior to my senior year we moved once more to Stillwater, Oklahoma where I graduated high school.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I spent two years after high school working in the offshore oilfield and selling insurance for State Farm Insurance. I enrolled in Florida College in the fall of 2000 and attended for that year. The next year I enrolled in Chattanooga State Technical Community College where I earned my Associate of Arts in History degree in May of 2002. While enrolled in Chattanooga State, I began to preach for the Rock Spring Church of Christ in Rock Spring, GA while going to school. Both were full-time endeavors and my free time was extremely limited.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The month after earning my associate’s degree, I married my wife, Molly. After a year and half we moved back to Texas where I began preaching for the Corrigan Church of Christ. In 2006 I enrolled in Stephen F. Austin University where I continued work on my bachelor’s degree studying pedagogy. The next year we moved to Orange, TX where I began working with the Mauriceville Church. In 2019 I enrolled in Lamar University and completed a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree. During this time I primarily studied communication for which I earned a minor.\u00a0In the spring of 2021 I enrolled in Amridge University and began working on a Master of Arts in New Testament Studies. Lord willing this degree will be completed at the end of the summer of 2022. I have been accepted into their doctoral program and will begin work on a PhD in New Testament Studies in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\r\n

I have been married to Molly for 20 years and we have four children: two boys and two girls. I love my work as an evangelist and hope to continue in this labor for my lifetime in whatever capacity I can best serve the kingdom.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
